Executive Team

John Holland is CEO and Chairman of the Board at Control & Equipment Company.  

He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with an Engineering Technology degree.  He started his career at CEC in 1982 as a technician.  In 1990, he was promoted to Controls Application Engineer and also worked in the Testing, Adjusting & Balancing Department.  He holds the Class 'A' Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Commercial License in both Texas and New Mexico.  He has served as President of ASHRAE the American Society of Heating Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers.

Aron Russell is President of Control & Equipment Company. He began his career in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry in 2004 in El Paso, Texas. Early on, he developed a specialized interest in low-voltage control systems and building automation, which led to his employment with Control & Equipment Company. He joined the organization as a Controls Technician, where he acquired extensive experience in system programming, commissioning, and third-party system integration. Through demonstrated technical proficiency and leadership, Mr. Russell advanced to the role of Building Automation Systems (BAS) Project Manager and subsequently to Account Manager. In these positions, he expanded his expertise in project estimation and client services, consistently exemplifying a customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
